The estimated median gross weekly earnings for all (i.e. both full- and part-time) employees working in Derry LGD at April 2014 was £356.40, down 1.6% from 2013, while NI (£357.50) experienced a 2.2% decrease over the year. Strabane LGD (£282.10) experienced a 14.1% increase over the year.

Median gross weekly earnings, for those working full-time in Derry LGD, at 
April 2014, were £454.00 per week compared with a Northern Ireland median of £457.20. Median gross weekly earnings for those working full-time in Strabane LGD, at April 2014, were £346.10 per week.

Within Derry-Londonderry, the gross weekly median earnings for males working full-time were £431.50 (£460.50 in NI). The gross weekly median earnings for females working full-time were £475.20 (£444.40 in NI). Fugures for Strabane are suppressed due to small numbers.
